Gonçalo Moreira signs professional contract
Individual Football Training 8-year alumni Ogon Carvalho Moreira, a 16-year-old winger has just signed a professional contract with Sport Lisboa e Benfica.

Hired in 2015/16 at Pedrouços Atlético Clube, where he began his sports career, Gonçalo Moreira made three seasons at the Braga Training and Training Center and arrived at Benfica Campus in 2018, representing the Club eight seasons ago.
International for the Portuguese Youth Under-17 team (participation in three games so far), the winger has played in 26 games and scored 19 goals for Benfica's Youth B in 2021/22.
In the current season (2022/23), up to the date of this contract, Gonçalo Moreira played eight games and scored four goals for Juvenile A.
"It's been many years in this house, in a huge club, with a great history, and I hope to continue for many more. Signing this professional contract brings me a sense of pride. It's continuing to work because nothing's done yet. My goal is to reach the first team," he explained in remarks to BTV.
