YONA FRIDMAN
BRIEF HISTORY
Yona first started playing football in Israel where at a young age he was asked to join a local kid’s team. His passion and tenacity allowed him to quickly develop where he soon started playing up an age group. In 2014 Yona joined professional Club Hapoel Tel Aviv where he continued his development through until 2019. In 2019 Yona's family moved to Portugal where he commenced a new phase in his football development. Unfortunately like all others he was impacted by the Covid pandemic which prevented him playing whilst at the same time neading to be processed through international transfer regulations. In 2020 Yona signed and began playing with Boavista where he found immediate success in winning the Championship as top scorer that season.
ABOUT HIM
Yona is a tenacious 14-year-old who plays as an attacking minded winger. He can play either side where he uses his skill and pace to create opportunity either scoring himself or setting up crosses and through balls. He is making great strides in his development and continues to improve.
