RILEY HORNE
BRIEF HISTORY
Riley has been playing football from a very young age beginning in Asia. He spent 2 years in Germany with DFI before moving to the United States where he spent a further 2 years with Barcelona Residency Academy. In 2019 he joined Semi Professional Club FC Arizona making his senior debut at 15. In March 2022 Riley was invited to trial with 3 top Portuguese Professional Clubs. He performed exceptionally well with all 3 where he was offered extended trial and ultimately a playing contract. He is a talented player who continues to impress with his professional development. Riley will sign his first European contract on his 18th birthday where he will play the 2022/23 season with one of Portugals most historic clubs. This is an important step in his development to establish himself and move to bigger and better things.
ABOUT HIM
Riley is a pacey midfielder who plays equally as well off either foot. His creativity and ability to read the play makes him a special talent who brings many dimensions to his game. His movement both on and off the ball combined with a high footballing IQ are a true strength.
Riley has been with IFD for 6 months in which time he has secured a playing contract with the historic Club S.C.Salgueiros. We are very excited to see what the future brings as we continue to invest in his development.
