RILEY HORNE
BRIEF HISTORY
Riley has been playing football from a very young age beginning in Asia. He spent 2 years in Germany with DFI before moving to the United States where he spent a further 2 years with Barcelona Residency Academy. In 2019 he joined Semi Professional Club FC Arizona making his senior debut at 15. In March 2022 Riley was invited to trial with 3 top Portuguese Professional Clubs. He performed exceptionally well with all 3 where he was offered extended trial and ultimately a playing contract. He is a talented player who continues to impress with his professional development. Riley will sign his first European contract on his 18th birthday where he will play the 2022/23 season with one of Portugals most historic clubs. This is an important step in his development to establish himself and move to bigger and better things.
ABOUT HIM
Playing at Left Back, Horne is a dynamic force on the pitch. As a natural left-footer with an equally potent right foot, he thrives as a Wing Back. His experience in midfield, combined with speed and technical skills, makes him an intelligent footballer.
Horne's impressive performances during trials led to a contract with SC Salgueiros, where he contributed to winning the AF Porto 1st Division League Cup in the 2022/23 and 2023/24 seasons.
In 2024/25, he transferred to SC Rio Tinto, where he has enjoyed a breakout year under head coach José Alberto and mentor Steven Rodrigues. Their guidance has been crucial in his development.
